We have been experiencing some unusual but lovely weather in AC--70 degree days in winter--blue skies & all that sunshine! It feels like itʻs summer! Miles has been busy catching up with his papa & grandma and Justin and I are now chopped liver. Heʻs so happy to wake up, knowing that they are just in the DJ room/guestroom...
This weekend, we are have spontaneously decided to do a road trip to Vegas to visit family. Unfortunately, we have learned that one of papoʻs 1st cousin, an Elacio, has passed away suddenly at the age of 54 due to colon cancer. Miles, Justin, and I were lucky to have met him this past year. It is just another reminder to hold your family and loved ones close to you because you just never know..especially our grandparents & parents because they are just at that age.
On a lighter note, Miles has been making me proud, saying "please," "excuse me," "thank you," "no thanks," etc...sometimes, he corrects me:
mamafeelgood: Miles, can you brush your teeth now?
miles: you forgot to say please mommy.
mamafeelgood: oh, iʻm sorry. can you PLEASE brush your teeth now?
miles: sure!

miles: (having trouble opening up a packaged toy) Papa, can you teach me how to open this please?
Papa: Ok!
Btw, I have been spending a few hours a day, digital-window shopping for kid/baby stuff. I wish I could buy it all as gifts for friends having babies..I wish I could buy it for Miles & my future babies! Anyway, check out what Old Navy is carrying a Charlie Harper collection for kids & babies! OMG, i want to buy it all!
