Painting at LACMA.
Miles and I got to spend quality time with his cousins, Lucy & Ben, as well as some time with his Aunty Teresa, Aunty Lea, and Uncle Tom (we were at his cabin). I miss my niece and nephew so much already and Miles wishes they lived closer. Lucy had me rolling because she is just so darn clever. Miles is now making me do knock knock jokes that Lucy taught him:
Miles: Knock knock!
Me: Who's there?
Miles: Banana!
Me: Banana who?
Miles: I can't hear, I got a banana stuck in my ear!
Ok, doesn't sound funny right. But it was soo funny to them, regardless of how many times they repeated it back and forth. So simple and fun--that was our L.A. trip. Having kids definitely makes me appreciate these moments.
Miles really enjoyed, Millions of Milkshakes, Pinkberry, LACMA, playing Bionicles with Lucy, making Ben Isaac laugh, and of course, listening to 3 bed time stories as well as Lucy's bedtime music with her before dozing off. When we got back home, he asked me to buy him one of those boom boxes to put by his bedside like his cousin Lucy.
