Tuesday!

I wish I could take Miles with me tonight to see one of my favorite bands. He loves them too, especially this song...

Miles has been having fun at home and with both Justin and I working from home. I'm cherishing these days before I plug into the matrix by the end of the month. Last night, as a family, we came up with 6 important rules and wrote them down. Miles copied the letters on his own pages. This is what we came up with:
1. Respect yourself & others.
2. Express your feelings.
3. Be nice to others.
4. Listen.
5. Share.
6. Clean up.
After we wrote it down, we went over each rule and we made little funny skits about doing the opposite of each rule, followed by abiding each rule. It was pretty funny. Miles enjoyed seeing me make kalat and also be mean to his dad. He was rolling on the floor, laughing. But the great thing is--is that he remembered each rule because of our little skits. Today, he reminded his dad about rule #4 after hearing me tell Jus that he has selective hearing with me. Ha!

It's been beautiful outside, we've enjoyed such a happy weekend, celebrating Uncle Fernan's & Uncle Jesse's beautiful wedding, Justin's 30th birthday, and Darrien's 4th birthday, grubbin' at Papalote's.

Loving the sunshine and blue skies...give thanks!

(Thanks Kimmy & Perci for sharing!)

Miles is so cute! He looks like a little man with mad style these days! I love the rules and how you guys came up with them yourselves and with Miles as the scribe. Happy belated bday to Justin! P.S. Paulo loves chillin' to Little D too:)
