....I started blogging about being pregnant, not knowing what kind of commitment I would be making by doing so. 5 years later, I ended up documenting the everyday life of Miles. It's amazing how much time has gone by, and how much he has developed, and how much Justin and I have grown too as parents. Just wanted to take the time to thank you for keeping up with Miles' life and checking back to see what's new with the boy.
Miles has enjoyed a relaxing winter vacation. While it mostly rained, we would go out and splash in the puddles, take walks in the drizzle, and savour the few minutes of sunshine at the playground in between showers.
He's become a professional Uno player (thanks to his Aunty Xtina & Uncle Arjuna), playing Uno tournaments with Jus and I, and just about all his aunts and uncles who pass by for a visit.
Jus and I have found the perfect and ideal school for him to attend, a Spanish Immersion school, music & arts based, that we think would be challenging & exciting for him. We can use all the prayers, mediations, and positive vibes to get him in!
One great thing about Miles that I've seen this past year, even more so these past couple weeks, is how much empathy he's developed for others as well as being able to communicate his feelings especially when he's at his most vulnerable!
Ok that's all for now folks..I'll update with more pictures soon!
Happy new year! Live it up!

I saw this today and thought about your veggie crusade. You're actually doing all of them already I think! How's that been going, btw?
