Miles' Godsister Maliyah turned 1...a few days after her big brother Kasama turned 8! It's hard to believe that a year has already passed by so quickly. It's a good reminder for me to savour each day and moment with Miles & Darrien too--because growing up happens so fast. It's admirable seeing Miles' Ninong Dre grow into the family man that he says he's always been. It's testament to how natural parenting can be when you flow with the changes and allow yourself to grow as your child does. Aunty Sonda is an amazing mama, coming from a family of matriarchs. I think--she's a G. I love picking her brain, gaining mama wisdom & understanding. We love you Aunt Sonda, Uncle Dre, Kasama, & Maliyah!

So true, time just flies by and the kids just grow up too, too fast. Is Miles going to be in kinder next year already?!? Any word on the arts school? Crossing our fingers you guys can get in...sounds exciting. Wish we had that here.
