As we hiked, the boys made plenty noise--in order to scare away the mountain lions.
Being in the forest made us feel powerful.
We were in awe.
Miles was amazed by this giant redwood that had a little nook he could fit in.
Darrien was ready to see the waterfall.
"Mountain Cats!" exclaimed Darrien.
We hiked up the mountain.
When we reached the top, it was beautiful!
Bobawts!
Nanay was pretty happy!
We saw baby redwood trees too.
"Oh yeaaahhh??!!" chanted Miles & Dengs, amusing the other hikers around us.
We also met a squirrel friend.
Justin put that walking stick to use.
Dengs & Miles had their own walking sticks too.
And finally, we reached the waterfall.
The boys climbed right up to the waterfall.
They put their hands under the waterfall.
Then after awhile, we headed back.
Miles got tired and asked to hitch a ride.
So long Pfeiffer Falls!
These boys had fun making noise up the mountain to scare away the "lion cats."
We'll be back for this hike next year!
